Eilidh West is a singer and actor from Edinburgh who graduated with a first class honours degree in Acting and English from Edinburgh Napier University in 2022.
From the age of 12 she cut her teeth in stage performance as a member of the capital's famous Forth Children's Theatre, taking part in over a dozen musicals including regular runs in the Edinburgh Fringe, where her performances caught the eye of critics:
'Eliidh West's Sister Mary is a masterclass in comic eccentricity'
(Review of Sister Act, 2018)
'Eilidh West holds the production together as Ti Moune. Her acting is seemingly effortless and emotionally spot on, backed by some excellent singing'
(Review of Once on This Island, 2019)
In 2023, Eilidh co-founded Reverb Theatre, a company specialising in performing cutting-edge productions with a strong social message underpinned with humour and live music. Their Edinburgh Fringe production of a brand new specially-commissioned play by Kira Mason, Graveyard of the Outcast Dead, was lauded by critics as an excellent debut. Read a review in full here
Eilidh also has a growing reputation as a singer in her own right. Her sensitive interpretations of traditional songs and ballads, as well as covers of songs by such artists as Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy and Davy Steele, have led to bookings in folk and acoustic clubs across Edinburgh, and beyond.
